Please
call us to make your reservations. We prefer to speak with you
personally, in order to custom design your wilderness adventure
to
best meet the needs of your family or group.
Although
our snowshoe tours are geared toward the participants' desired level
of exertion, we ask that all participants be in good health. On
most trips we will be snowshoeing between 2-5 miles per day, at
elevations between 8,000 and 13,000 feet above sea level. We suggest
that participants stay in the area for a couple of days prior to
the trip, in order to adjust to the altitude.
We also recommend a regular exercise program, before your trip (walking
is o.k.), to make snowshoeing in the mountains a little easier.
Reservations require a 50% deposit with the balance due 30 days
prior to your snowshoe trip. Reservations made less than 30 days
in advance require full payment. We strongly advise making your
reservations early, in order to ensure the date(s) of your choice,
as our snowshoe season fills up quickly! Just give us a call, and
we'll help you design the winter wilderness adventure of a lifetime!.
The trip cost includes snowshoe and pole rentals, hands-on instruction,
and an accompanying naturalist guide. Snacks and hot beverages are
also included. Once reservations are made, you will receive an information
packet containing trip specifics, maps and directions, and a list
of clothing and items to bring.
Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to departure will result
in a full refund, less a 25% cancellation/administrative fee. No
refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 7 days prior
to departure, "no shows", or upon withdrawal from any
trip in progress.
